Location: London (UK)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a dynamic, ambitious Pre-Sales person with strong finance/accounting knowledge to help us continue our rapid growth in the UK. We also understand that some of the best pre-sales people come straight from consulting or from industry because they have a deep understanding of the customer’s challenges and goals.

You will be based in London with travel expected across the UK & Ireland and will be reporting directly to the Sales Director. Although you will be assuming a senior role in the growing Pre-Sales team, this is a hands-on role and you will be expected to engage with prospects and deliver demos and presentations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the Sales team in sale processes providing expertise in the technology and functional accountancy finance areas
  • CPM (EPM) product demonstrations for budgeting, planning, forecasting and consolidation
  • Supervise and mentor the Presales team ensuring they are equipped to support the wider sales function

  • Scoping, development and presentation of Proof of Concepts (POC) to prospects
  • Helping to shape the marketing and strategic plan of the UK business identifying opportunities and ways to exploit them
  • Attend sales and marketing events representing the company and acting as an evangelist for the technology

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • The technology you will be working with is for the Office of Finance so a background (or strong understanding) of accounting is necessary as well as knowledge of core finance reporting processes (budgeting & planning, forecasting and consolidation). Experience of IFRS 16 and IFRS17 would be a bonus.
  • The role is client facing so you need to be personable, credible and engaging. You must be comfortable working to tight deadlines and dealing with all senior stakeholders within a Finance Function (FD, GFC, CFO).
  • Experience in one (or more) CPM technologies is very useful. Some of these may include (but not limited to) Cognos, Tagetik, Hyperion, Onestream, BOARD, Adaptive, Anaplan, SAP, Oracle, Prevero and/or Tidemark.
  • Bachelors’ degree in Finance or Business Administration
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Approximately 50% travel is required

Remuneration and contract terms will be discussed individually and defined according to personal skills, competences and experience.
