The CFO’s Guide to Navigating the Cloud: Webinar Presentation Featuring Industry Analyst Paul Hamerman

Presentation will cover technology trends impacting finance, adoption rates, and deployment considerations in webinar hosted by CFO Publications and Tagetik

Finance professionals can get the latest information on financial performance management (FPM) applications, research results on SaaS and Cloud adoption rates and licensing changes, and a detailed comparison of FPM deployment options in the complimentary webinar, “The CFO’s Guide to Navigating the Cloud,” on Thursday, April 17, from 11:00am to noon, EDT. The webinar features guest speaker Paul Hamerman, vice president and principal analyst serving application development and delivery professionals at Forrester Research, Inc.. The webinar is hosted by CFO Publications and Tagetik, a global provider of enterprise software solutions for performance management, disclosure management, financial governance and business intelligence.

“SaaS is growing as the preferred deployment choice for apps,” according to the January 2014 Forrester Research, Inc. report co-written by Hamerman entitled “TechRadar™: Software-As-A-Service, Q1 2014.” The report also notes that 27% of surveyed software decision makers have implemented software-as-a-service or plan to implement it within the next 12 months.  Hamerman is a leading authority on enterprise financial and HR applications, as well as trends and directions in the overall enterprise application market.

During the webinar, Hamerman will review other Forrester research findings, compare how finance’s adoption of cloud deployment compares to that for other business areas, and discuss the pros and cons of different deployment strategies.
