Director Financial Planning & Analysis

Job Description:

Reporting to the CFO of CCH Tagetik, the The Director Financial Planning & Analysis will act as a key business partner to the CCH Tagetik and Corporate Performance Solutions executive team as well as the TAA Divisional executive team. 

The individual will be responsible for leading the monthly financial and operational reporting deliverables and the executive board presentation (MDM). The incumbent will manage the annual budget, quarterly forecasting and reporting, and the three-year strategic planning processes for CCH Tagetik.  In addition, the Director Financial Planning & Analysis will be a resource to the larger TAA Finance organization in support of complex financial projects, ad hoc analysis, and major initiatives.

The essential duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Responsible for financial planning, analysis, and reporting for CCH Tagetik business for Corporate Performance Solutions and TAA Division 
  • Acts as a key financial liaison between CCH Tagetik, CPS and TAA Finance teams
  • Coordinates the team of local Financial Planning and Analysis among the different CCH Tagetik Legal Entities, in different countries
  • Analyzes and interprets financial information pertaining to CCH Tagetik performance
  • Develops reports, analysis and financial communications that provide Corporate Performance Solutions and TAA Divisional finance teams with a clear and forward looking view of the financial impact of management actions
  • Manages monthly and quarterly consolidated financial analysis and reporting deliverables
  • Ensures timely analysis of the business performance and all reporting deliverables
  • Manages the forecasting efforts throughout the year (quarterly, monthly, ad-hoc) for CCH Tagetik
  • Leads and coordinate the annual consolidated budgeting and regular forecasting processes for CCH Tagetik
  • Assists in development of the annual three year strategic plan, detailing revenue, expense and cash flow expectations, along with supporting strategic and tactical plans
  • Assists the CCH Tagetik CFO and Executive team in providing financial insights and input on new and existing initiatives
  • Evolves the CCH Tagetik KPIs, asset and investment management analysis, portfolio value, and other performance metric tracking to more effectively run the business
  • Recommends business policy, resource allocation, and business operations to improve company financial performance
  • Alerts key executives and managers to trends in the financial performance of the business that may require management attention and action
  • Drives the identification and articulation of business unit opportunities and challenges in order to optimize business unit performance by continually reviewing and analyzing financial and operations data to model trends, identify relationships or spot opportunities
  • Maintains effective communications with executives and managers across the company to ensure proper sensitivity to the needs of the financial analysis professionals.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent
  • 7 or more years of experience as a Financial Analyst, including roles in Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis, Corporate Reporting and as a Finance Manager or equivalent
  • 2 or more years of experience in a Financial Planning and Analysis managerial position or equivalent



  • Experience in a global organization dealing in multiple currencies and in providing support to an organization of at least $80M in revenue
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to be successful in a matrix environment
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and deliver timely and quality results with a focus on accuracy and integrity of data
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and changing priorities in a demanding, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to synthesize and evaluate complex data
  • Capacity to identify underlying principles, reasons or factors of information by breaking down into components; ability to uncover and explain the cause and effect of data disparities
  • Knowledge of CCH Tagetik is a preferred qualification
  • Function as an integral part of the finance team and build positive relationships and credibility
  • Comfortable communicating cross-functionally and with geographically distributed, virtual teams and various levels of leadership including executive level management
  • Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to work on own initiative



10% to 20%


Remuneration and contract terms will be discussed individually and defined according to personal skills, competences and experience.
