Senior Consultant – Insurance and Banking Solutions

Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Consultant – Insurance and Banking Solutions who will work in a high-performance consulting environment in the Insurance and Banking industry. Our goal is to support the Clients in accounting and regulatory changes. You will be working on exciting projects and create client impact. You will be working at the forefront of innovation and cooperate with well-known clients as well as start-ups. You will be working in a team with talented and passionate CCH Tagetik Consultants who develop solutions for banks and insurances,   such as for example IFRS17 or IFRS 9.  Previous experiences into actuarial area and technology consultancy are welcome.

Responsibilities will include: 

  • Work with our practice leaders and professional consultants as a team to deliver high quality solutions to our global clients: current focus is on IFRS 17
  • Consulting and partnering with our Insurance clients to help them develop high performance solutions to advance their industry position
  • Supporting identification of strategic operational issues and performance gaps
  • Supporting designing comprehensive target business and technology architecture, operating model and processes to shape major transformation journeys
  • Support delivering major client transformation both on a business, technology, architecture and program management side

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Actuary Science, Statistic, Accounting or related fields
  • 5+ years of technical experience in the Insurance Industry either at a Consulting company or at an Insurer
  • 5+ experience with banking or insurance accounting or audit in banking or insurance sector (knowledge of/experience in financial instruments accounting and/or Solvency II and/or life/non-life actuarial matters, is a plus)
  • Strong MS Excel and VBA skills
  • Experience of Economic Capital calculation and systems
  • Solvency II standard formula calculation experience
  • Knowledge of/experience in IFRS17 o IFRS9 is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal, planning and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to prioritise multiple workstreams for long term planning

Remuneration and contract terms will be discussed individually and defined according to personal skills, competences and experience.
