Job Description:

Our team drives innovation to expand the reach and impact of our unified solution for Consolidation, Strategic & Operational Planning and Regulatory reporting for the Office of Finance.


As a Field Marketing Manager you will drive transformation and increase momentum and market preference for CCH Tagetik.  You are responsible for managing the planning and execution of CCH Tagetik’s demand and lead generation in your assigned territory through a number of marketing channels, including inbound marketing tactics like email and social media, paid advertising, and events. You will work closely with regional sales managers and representatives to build a successful, sustainable pipeline of leads and customers specific to your area. This role has a dynamic scope and high visibility across stakeholder teams.


  • Work closely with sales and define a region-specific marketing plan aligned with the overall company marketing strategy.
  • Support regional demand generation, sales pipeline and revenue objectives
  • Function as the primary interaction point between sales representatives and marketing in your territory
  • Optimize each marketing touchpoint using data, including top-of-funnel channels like social media and blogging, middle-of-funnel channels like email nurturing, and bottom-of-funnel activities with sales teammates.
  • Integrate and manage account based marketing strategies as part of the overall regional marketing mix
  • Plan and host offline events to deepen relationships with customers and attract local prospects.
  • Drive regional event recruitment activity to ensure attendance objectives are met
  • Support overall marketing team goals and programs, ensuring their success in your region. 
  • Assist regional sales managers as needed, including increasing brand awareness locally/regionally and driving leads.
  • Communicate program status, action items, results, and deliverables across marketing and sales.
  • Manage budgets, completing plans within deadlines with necessary approvals for budget spend
  • Identify, develop and facilitate joint marketing activities with Longview partners 
  • Proactively provide recommendations to sales reps and sales management in support of the Territory business plan
  • May be required to support the ongoing development of CCH Tagetik User Groups within assigned territory
  • Build relationships with clients to add context and relevance to marketing plans
  • Provide key account development and account based marketing strategies to support for selected major existing accounts within the assigned territory 
  • May be required to supervise the day-to-day activity of a Field Marketing Coordinator

REQUIRED SKILLS: 

  • An entrepreneurial drive, a collaborative spirit and a passion for marketing
  • Proven track record in B2B marketing of delivering targeted marketing results, using data and analytics to inform decisions 
  • Demonstrated research capability to analyze and evaluate territory/industry dynamics to develop a comprehensive market strategy
  • Experienced at managing budgets with proven success in developing and executing field marketing plans
  • Excellent at developing relationships with teams, customers and partners
  • Experience with account based marketing strategies
  • Event management experience
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines without compromising quality of outputs, showcasing a high degree of innovation to continually improve results
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Experience developing and executing sales and marketing programs in target vertical markets for complex software and services solutions to senior level business executives
  • Experience with CRM and Marketing Automation systems
  • 5 + years in business development and/or marketing preferred
  • Post-secondary education/university degree with an emphasis in marketing/sales or an equivalent combination of education in another relevant discipline with marketing work experience. 
  • Travel approximately 10% to 20%

Remuneration and contract terms will be discussed individually and defined according to personal skills, competences and experience.
