CCH Tagetik is the Business Solution adopted by Poste Italiane since 2015. It is currently used for budgeting. forecasting, strategic planning and financial statement reporting system, both in the economical and management sector. All processes are integrated with each other and offer a management and operational reporting output.
CCH Tagetik's wide flexibility and great ease of customization are indispensable strengths for the implementation of activities with weekly closings that require structured processes and deadlines. Complex formula and 'costum visual' have been used to create report and dashboard that represent the specific indicators selected from Poste Italiane SPA. This system replaced the old one where KPI were collected in single publication.
Weekly Report was born from Poste Italiane’s need to replace the conventional 'weekly book', developed from CCH Tagetik-mined Excel sheet and converted in PDF format. Through the implementation of CCH Tagetik and Microsoft Power BI, Weekly Report allows a detailed analysis of company data, previously processed by CCH Tagetik, for planning, budgeting and forecasting processes together with the update of weekly data and monthly consolidation process integration.
The Weekly Report shows trends and commercial progress related to the services and products views. The results are reported directly to the top management. The current Weekly Report model is based on a new reporting system focused on Power BI’s dashboard, including interactive navigation functions and advanced KPI’s performance easy-to-read. The quality of the information is guaranteed by the direct integration of the CCH Tagetik data model.
From the technical point of view, the architecture envisages data recovery directly at the Data Base level: This process can be considered an effective advantage in terms of eliminating errors generated by manual intervention, and packaging time. Another plus is the automatization of the data processing. To sum up, Weekly Report can be considered a perfect example of a Business Intelligence solution applied to a CPM system, easily replicable also within medium-large business contexts.
