Tagetik Continues Investment in Global Market Expansion with New Vice President of Global Demand Generation

Proven marketing executive Paul Giardina will focus on growing North American and global markets for Tagetik’s corporate performance management solutions

Tagetik, a visionary provider of global performance management solutions, today announced that Paul Giardina has joined the company as vice president of global demand generation. Giardina brings many years of enterprise software experience to Tagetik, which provides a unified platform for performance management, disclosure management, financial governance and business intelligence to customers worldwide.

“Paul is a seasoned marketing executive with deep experience in all aspects of business-to-business marketing, including demand generation and product positioning,” said Dave Kasabian, senior vice president of product marketing and strategy at Tagetik. “He has a stellar 25-year track record of growing global enterprise software companies in North America, as well as a deep appreciation for customer needs, challenges and aspirations. He will be a great asset to Tagetik as we continue to reinforce our proven value proposition of providing cost-efficient finance solutions that meet the needs of some of the most complex global organizations, yet are simple enough to be owned-and-operated by finance. We are delighted to add an executive of Paul’s stature to our global executive team. I look forward to working with Paul on a daily basis in our Stamford headquarters.”

Giardina’s most recent experience was as chief marketing officer for Archive Systems, a Fairfield, NJ company selling document management software and services. Prior to Archive Systems, Giardina worked for Protegrity, a data encryption and security company headquartered in Stamford, CT. Giardina held several executive roles during his Protegrity career, from chief marketing officer to interim CEO.

Giardina also has 15 years of enterprise financial software (CPM) experience including several services and marketing management roles at Hyperion Solutions, now a division of Oracle; and at Cartesis, a Paris-based financial software company (now part of SAP), where he was executive vice president of marketing.

“After working with Tagetik as an executive consultant for several months, I am thrilled to be officially joining the talented Tagetik management team,” said Giardina. “Tagetik offers to the enterprise market a rare combination -- superior technology and functionality with equally superior customer support and customer satisfaction. The company is recognized as a strong competitor of the mega-vendors with a much lower TCO and much simpler architecture. Tagetik also competes well with the niche SaaS vendors by offering a more comprehensive solution on the cloud. I see only a bright future for thecompany, and I look forward to contributing to its continued success.”

Manuel Vellutini, executive vice president, chief operating officer at Tagetik, added “We are fully confident that Paul will be a key contributor to Tagetik’s success in North America, where we are investing heavily, as well as in our continued growth on a global scale.”
