IT Business Analyst  and Administrator

Job Description:

The role is located within the global finance team, which is responsible for all financial reporting and analysis prepared for CCH CCH Tagetik Management, TAA Division and Wolters Kluwer Corporate.

This key resource will contribute to the evaluation of the global finance team within CCH CCH Tagetik, and is supposed to be a power user of the CCH Tagetik system. Main objectives are to strengthen underlying financial processes, safeguarding the quality of data and supporting various new reporting and analytical initiatives.

Key Responsabilities:

  • Keep CCH Tagetik available in cooperation with IT and other internal staff 
  • Single point of contact for CCH Tagetik system-related matters
  • Design, build, test and implement customized elements (metadata, rules) of the CCH Tagetik system, specifically for the global finance team
  • Responsible for embedding additional modules and tools, such as budgeting and forecasting 
  • Creating (hierarchies of) new entities, cost centers, accounts or other new dimensions (for example to track new KPI’s)
  • Maintaining and developing data warehouses, data dictionaries and data models, and participate projects
  • Best practice sharing with other WK entities
  • Participate in the monthly reporting and forecasting cycles
  • Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of consolidating, reporting and analytical processes
  • Setting architecture, and organizing process flows
  • Creating new reports, which is expected to be centralized in this role
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, and abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with business partners to analyze information needs and functional requirements

Professional background and key skills:

  • 5+ years of relevant working experience
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • Deep knowledge of key application processes, preferably within CCH Tagetik
  • Strong MS Excel and database skills
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Able to work in a fast changing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously meeting deadlines. Available to work overtime
  • Sense for underlying business model
  • Fluent in English (writing, listening, speaking)

The incumbent will be the key person to adopt the project “Tagetik4Tagetik”, with broad global interactions and working side by side with Leader in the finance structure.
