HR Cost Controller

Job Description:

At CCH Tagetik we have created a great opportunity building Human Resources reporting and analytics. Our personnel is the primary resource in our mission providing state-of-the-art Corporate Performance Management (CPM) software and services to our global operating customers.


As an Financial Analyst-HR you will be part of the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Department.
You will be responsible for planning, coordinating the personnel budget (costs, heads) of the company, actual cost reporting, and analytics.


In particular:

  • Managing relationships with the CCH Tagetik country units about their headcount and related spend
  • Managing the accuracy of headcount and related spend in our data warehouse (for example during the month end closing)
  • Prepare regular reports, and standard or ad-hoc analyzes of personnel costs
  • Support budget and forecast processes by developing and improving a valid model of staff cost structure planning
  • Performing variance analysis vs. budget / forecast, providing important explanations to the main stakeholders
  • Implementing headcount related KPI’s
  • Elaborate What If analysis with the aim of building the most efficient structure in the Services Organization
  • Analyze the variable cost structure and collaborate in managing the incentive schemes and commissions
  • Support the activities of Financial Planning and Analysis, and partnering with the HR function
  • Collaborate with human resources market partners and financial planning, actively contributing to identify the most efficient workforce cost strategy
  • Manage, if needed, relationships with payroll providers for aligning the cost reporting to what is needed by Accounting Dep and FP&A

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or specialist degree preferably in economic subjects.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in accounting HR Cost Control / personnel administration, preferably within software and services
  • Understanding of personnel costs, budget management, bonus/ commission payment and structure
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, Familiar working with (financial) reporting systems
  • Good writing and speaking in English
  • Strong collaboration skills
