Disclosure reporting

Disclosure reports are produced for internal and external stakeholders. They showcase a company’s business activities and performance. They also often include information on the company’s condition, compensation and where they’re headed in the future. While at sometimes voluntary, for publicly listed companies, there are certain reports that are deemed mandatory disclosures set by regulators like the SEC. Disclosure reports exist to ensure that investors and stakeholders are aware of the state of companies that they could be investing or involved with.

Examples of disclosure reports are:

  • 10K
  • 10Q
  • Proxy circulars
  • Insider transactions
  • Prospectus
