Panalpina chooses Tagetik 3.0 for Planning, Consolidation and Reporting needs
Embedded features and sophisticated calculation engine to plan and consolidate multinational data with lower total costs
Tagetik, a global provider of Performance Management, Financial Governance and Business Intelligence software solutions, today announced that Panalpina, a leading worldwide logistics company, is implementing Tagetik 3.0 for their budgeting, planning and forecasting and to produce their consolidated financial statements. The web-based solution will simplify the group’s planning and consolidation processes across Basel headquarters throughout their subsidiaries in 80 countries worldwide.
During the software selection Tagetik 3.0 impressed Panalpina with its depth of unified budgeting and consolidation functionality and built-in processes, delivering a user-friendly dashboard for intercompany matching, sophisticated planning capabilities and managing complex currency conversions. The ‘performance management’ software will replace two previously used SAP applications.
