The Hillman Group selects Tagetik performance management solutions to streamline business processes
Information Builders-Tagetik Partnership Will Facilitate Seamless Integration with Its Existing WebFOCUS Performance Management Framework

Tagetik, a global provider of performance management (PM) and financial governance software solutions, announced that The Hillman Group (Hillman) has selected its PM solution to help streamline its business processes, enhance forecasting capabilities and create a foundation for future enterprise-wide reporting. Hillman is a leading worldwide distributor of an array of hardware items and engraving technologies, with nearly $500 million in annual sales. It will deploy Tagetik across four business units with locations throughout North America.
The company selected Tagetik after a rigorous competitive process in which it reviewed offerings from major enterprise solution vendors and other PM-focused providers. It cited Tagetik’s lowest total cost of ownership, maximum functionality, open architecture database and ability to integrate with Information Builders WebFOCUS Performance Management Framework as key decision points. Information Builders, a Hillman vendor, and Tagetik recently announced a business partnership that further facilitates the integration process.

The four Hillman business units are moving from an Excel-based budgeting system, which is less flexible than necessary and has become difficult to maintain with Hillman’s growth. The new Tagetik system will enable more frequent, accurate and flexible forecasting, including ‘what if’ scenarios, as well as easy consolidation of business information.
