Tagetik welcomes 300 people to 2009 User Conference in Lucca, Italy

Tagetik, a global provider of Corporate Performance Management (CPM) software solutions, today welcomed 300 delegates to its 2009 User Conference in the Tuscan city of Lucca, Italy. This event gives Tagetik users, partners and prospects the opportunity to meet the company’s senior-level management and experience the innovative capabilities of Tagetik 3.0 first hand. In addition, leading analysts and experts from Gartner, BARC, KPMG, Microsoft and Information Builders will share insight on the latest market developments. Keynote speaker for the event is Jeffrey Kluger, Senior Editor and Writer at Time Magazine and author of the book ‘Simplexity’.

Other day 1 highlights included a keynote speech titled "Cost Cutting Requires CPM" by Neil Chandler, Research Director at Gartner. Paolo Bertoli, President of Andaf, and Antonio Mansi, Partner at KPMG Advisory S.p.A., discussed the changing role of CFOs and their relationship with IT in today’s age of regulatory compliance.

On the second day, Carsten Bange from Business Application Research Center (BARC) will preview the results of its upcoming study "Performance Management: Current Challenges & Future Direction - Maturity and Integration of Performance Management Processes". In addition, customers and partners will present case studies and best practices on successful simplexity strategies.
