Analyst Conducts New Global Study On Performance Management

BARC, a leading independent software industry analyst, today announced that its “Planning and Budgeting in European Countries” study has been named “CPM Survey of the Year 2008”. The study, which was supported by Tagetik, examined the time, effort, methodologies and technologies involved in planning and budgeting in 500 companies across Europe.

“The results of this study show that planning applications are truly embedded in the market and have become an integral part of performance management throughout Europe,” summarizes Carsten Bange, Managing Director at BARC. “The results encouraged us to conduct further research in the CPM area.
