2008 Calendar
Moving towards a brighter future
Once again this year, we are supporting and financing, with a fund-raising effort, a number of carefully designed projects with a local focus that we follow directly, an approach that gives us full confidence in the programs. The funds will be used for specific initiatives to give real hope and tangible assistance to people in need.
The associations receiving our help are:

Fly Onlus Volunteer Association
Planaltina – Goiás, Brasile - www.associazionefly.org
The Fly Onlus (Roma) association helps support schools in rural Brazil, encouraging minors by being interactively involved. The school is founded on one hectare of land donated by, Vitoria Garofano, Shiatsu-Do Academy. -
Amici del Perù
Lucca - www.amicidelperu.info
This is an association based in Lucca that supports the lay missionary Maurizio Caneva, who works with the poorest populations in the Andes through three refectories, an agricultural development project and, currently, the establishment of a health center. -

The Community is involved in offering support to needy families with a weekly refectory service, a school for peace and other less regular but equally important initiatives such as the used toy sale and Christmas lunch. -
“UMUDUFU”

Umudufu is a volunteer association devoted to promoting and supporting social, health and education projects with a view to developing and leveraging local resources. -
Yra onlus Humanitarian Association
Founded in Lucca in 1993; this association supports humanitarian projects to help the people who survived the Chernobyl nuclear disaster in Belarus. By organized exchange programs where Children visit Lucca and stay with Lucchese families for brief visits. A new project undergo is the construction of a Greenhouse within a children’s Orphanage in Belarus. -
“CEPROF”

Tablada de Lurin barrio is a temporary home for children that have been abandoned or belong to families who suffer psychological or physical problems.
